When Grace Luff's children send her to a Silver Wings weekend at a luxury resort, they are hoping that the 56-years-young widow will meet a man to lift the loneliness she's endured since the passing of her husband over three years before.

Grace, who barely remembers how to date, doesn't expect to meet anyone, and skips the conference in lieu of fresh air and exercise. She's surprised when the owner of a local ski rental shop, Tray Bradshaw, makes her heart leap with interest and attraction.

When a rogue snowstorm traps the pair in an abandoned cabin on top of the mountain, they'll get to know each other, and discover that it's never too late to change...or fall in love.

Another flawlessly crafted story from the Queen of Romance! This was a quick read but nothing about it felt rushed or incomplete because the pacing was absolutely perfect.

This sweet romance has a couple in their 50s finding that elusive spark of connection while waiting out a snowstorm together. Grace and Tracy (Tray) are from two completely different worlds but having both lost their spouses to cancer, they're able to relate to each other on a deeper level.

It's never too late to start again (or experience passion for the first time) and Grace is proof of that. She'd always been the dutiful wife to a husband she merely respected but now that she's on her own, it's time for her to rediscover her true self... if she can find the courage to do it. We've all been in that place of contemplating 'what next?' so I think all ages will relate to Grace's struggle and be inspired by her. Her character development was wonderful!
