I don't think I've ever 'met' a romantic lead quite like Evan before. He's quirky, somewhat nerdy and he has deep insecurities. He was easy to relate to and it was a breath of fresh air to have the hero of the story shown as less than perfect. Margie was a worthy heroine in her own right, hardworking and passionate about her bakery.

And how luscious did those cinnamon rolls sound! More than any other author I've come across, Ava Miles has an incredible talent for engaging all five senses with her writing. This is one you'll be eating up... pun intended.
